yojimbo might just be what i’ve been waiting for

i just downloaded and have been playing with bare bones’ new offering, yojimbo, and i have to say that it’s pretty sweet as it has managed to solve a problem for me that apple/osx/spotlight haven’t been able to address. btw, bare bones are the makers of bbedit, which is quite simply the best code editor ever so they definitely have the software pedigree IMHO.

for the last couple of years i have been saving out pdfs of articles, code, reference, and such, creating my own little library of relevant and interesting things and what i’ve found is that i haven’t been going back to re-read or reference those pdfs since i had no real way of searching them. to those few who actually like spotlight and/or think it’s any good, i apologize in advance, but spotlight blows. now i have my way of creating, reading, updating and most importantly searching my library.
