so firefox just rules, it’s that simple.
i don’t know why it took me so long to get to using it. perhaps some ill-placed loyalty to apple and safari. now firefox, and more importantly, all the extensions that make my life/job more manageable are indispensable. the plugins I am referring to are: webdeveloper (I dare you to try and debug AJAX development wihtout it) , firebug (count & view your or others’ errors), tab mix plus (manage your tabs and tab sessions), mr tech local (make firefox that much better), selenium (automate some client side use case tests for web development), flashgot (grab all those pix), adblock (stop the barrage of ads), and informenter (autofill web forms).
