Long anticipated albums from Destroyer and Kavinsky, with quite a few new singles from long time favorites, and the annual from Anjunadeep should make this a great weekend and week. Some wildcard releases from Tahiti 80, Cannons, and Placebo could really put this week’s list over the edge.

Last Week's Distilled Gems

The Midlake album was truly excellent – so good having new music (and a tour) from them. Deorbiting, Blue States and Yumi Zouma all put out albums I kept going back to, and Arcade Fire’s Lightning II was fire.
