Yahoo Mail Beta – very slick indeed
I’ve been reading a bunch about how good Yahoo’s new email application is supposed to be that i figured i’d check in and see if i got invited. I normally use POP to access my yahoo mail so i never got the invite but it was there alright; it’s actually been sitting there since the beginning of march. Silly me.
Now that i have actually taken it for a whirl, i have to say that i was duly impressed. It features a very rich UI that makes me feel as if i were in outlook or entourage, just without the system bloat. Full RSS integration, drag and drop email and feed article organization, keyboard commands, and so on make this a real winner.
My only real issues with it isn’t Yahoo’s fault at all, i probably won’t be using it too much since i get all my email via POP.
