increase & decrease text size in firefox on osx with command & scroll wheel?

i’m not sure if this is a documented feature or bug, but i use a kensigton expert mouse trackball (yes, i finally found validation for all those hours spent playing asteroids, centipede, and missile command), and i noticed the other day that in firefox, if i hold the command key down and use the trackball, it actually increases and decreases the font size. a bit odd, but hey…
